For those properties that sell outside that 10% figure, further research is conducted by the assessor's office to determine whether or not that sale was an open market sale. An open market sale is defined as a property being on the open market with neither the buyer nor the seller being compelled to act. The parties must also be unrelated. It is suggested that a purchaser contact the assessor's office to review the assessment should the sale price be less than the assessed value. The assessor may be contacted at (800) 770-3927.

The Bayside Police Department will perform checks or inspections of your home if you are away for an extended period of time. Schedule a vacation check by calling 414-206-3916 or submitting a service request online.
On-street parking is not allowed in the Village. However, if you are hosting a party or event at your home, please advise your guests to park on the same side of the street as your home and inform the Police Department by calling 414-206-3916. No parking signs can be put up for a fee of $25. The signs will be placed on the opposite side of the street from your home.

No vehicle is to be parked upon any street or alley in the Village without permission of the the Police Department. If you are having an event where you or your guests will need to park on the road, you must contact the Police Department at 414-206-3916. If granted permission, guests will need to park on the same side of the street as the home they are visiting. If you would like, no parking signs may be put up by our Department of Utility and Community Services. You may request the no parking signs at Village Hall or online.
Bayside has a comprehensive household recycling program that includes pick up by Village crews. Household pick ups are every other Wednesday. Please do the following: Place your recyclables in your provided container at the end of the driveway where our crews can access it.
Materials should be rinsed, clean and ready for collection by 7:00 a.m.
Collection crews will tag all containers which do not conform to these specifications, and will leave materials behind.
